Paediatric care in Aydın: newborn examinations, vaccination, growth monitoring and treatment of childhood illness.
Our paediatrics department cares for children from birth to adolescence — routine follow-up of healthy children as well as the diagnosis and treatment of illness. Newborns are examined before discharge and followed up in the first weeks of life.
What we look after
- Growth and development monitoring, vaccination programme
- Newborn examination, jaundice follow-up, feeding and breastfeeding support
- Fever, cough, sore throat, ear infection, bronchiolitis and pneumonia
- Diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation
- Allergy, asthma, recurrent wheezing, eczema
- Anaemia, vitamin D and iron deficiency
- Failure to gain weight, feeding difficulty, obesity
- Urinary tract infection, bedwetting
- Rashes and childhood infectious diseases
Our paediatric team also supports the newborn unit and works with paediatric surgery and other departments when a child needs more than one specialty.
