- Floaters, flashes of light, a curtain across the visual field
- Double vision, squint
- Eye strain with headache
- Drooping or swollen eyelid, stye
- Itching and allergic eye complaints
- The annual retinal examination that everyone with diabetes should have
Sudden loss of vision, a curtain across your sight or flashes of light with floaters need to be seen the same day — they may indicate a retinal detachment.
