Conditions we assess
- Blocked nose, breathing through the mouth, a deviated septum
- Persistent post-nasal drip, pressure in the face (sinusitis)
- Recurrent tonsillitis and sore throat
- Snoring, pauses in breathing during sleep, daytime sleepiness
- Hearing loss, a feeling of fullness in the ear
- Tinnitus, earache and discharge
- Dizziness and loss of balance
- Hoarseness — always have this assessed if it lasts more than two weeks
- Difficulty swallowing, a feeling of something stuck in the throat
- A lump in the neck
- Loss of smell and taste
- Nosebleeds
- Enlarged adenoids and frequent ear infections in children
Procedures include endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty and rhinoplasty, tonsil and adenoid surgery, ventilation tubes, and thyroid and neck surgery.
